This is the new AFS feeder by Neptune Apex for automatically feeding the fish and coral by the Apex controller system, this is pretty cool. The interface is easy to work with and so far it’s running well.

We have been making progress on the dream tank, mostly in the area of Tunze pumps.

The sixth movie we have made on the progress of the build at ReefDVMs.
Just like the title says it’s a video on what we recommend.
We put together a simple video on the handling and thought process of using “STOP” to help deal with an aquarium crash. We certainly hope this helps people going through a crash for in the world of aquariums crashes happen if your in the hobby long enough.
We have been using UV sterilizers here for years – 
they can be great and also worthless. The thing to remember with them is size and flow. The little ones sold in pet stores are almost worthless for the light needs low flow and large amounts of contact time. Either way you look at them they also have the added issue that they kill good and bad algae, hence we DON’T recommend them in the general tank.
As you can see by the video we recommend them in the QT system and they work great there if you get a large enough one. We bought this one years ago via Bulk Reef Supply and it works great on the 20 gallon QT.
Water is flowing in our place, we added a couple of new photos here of the progress we are making. 
We added a another RODI unit to the system for more volume for our system. We have finished all varnishing and staining too on the new cabinets.
