Upgrading LEDs from AI to Kessils
The dream tank has been on the road of stability for the last year or so and “bang”, we got up and the lights we on and I mean ON! The controller for the AI lights was out and the LED’s were on the auto program mode and stuck. We contacted AI and well the industry has moved on so that the Vega controller isn’t really replaceable lol. So since we had a already used Kessils, out went the AI and in came the Kessils. Simple Water Change Method
Hello Everyone
2018 is here and our system is really doing well, pretty auto-pilot lately. There have been requests to see us do a water change, so we filmed it here today for you all to see.
Sandbed Hygiene
Today we wanted to show the sandbed since the 2013 startup and the little maintenance it needs to stay good for the tank inhabitants. So in goes the Tonga Mini Reefflakes
Electrical Trouble in the tank with Biopellets Pump
The tank had little issue with stray electrical current, big safety deal and we fixed it but at a cost. Check out the latest video on it. Thanks again to Vertex customer support.

18 Months of Great NP Bacto Tropic Marin Biopellets

Duncan Coral Died
Today we found few of our old Duncan colonies died, sad day for sure. we are water testing like crazy to see why this might have happened but it is still fact of life. Check out the video on the damage seen.
